Finally after a year im...not even half way

Posted an earlier post in the wrong section

So finally she is on the road. Took us a weekend too install the engine. After a week of easy driving i noticed that when i give it the pedal abit it just coughed, " crap, vac leak" i thought.

Luckily it was only the primary fuel rail missing its insulators and the o-rings on both fuel-rails had gotten enough so i changed those.
While putting the insulators in i managed too rip the gasket between the uim and lim in two. So its actually got a ripped gasket there atm but i got a new one coming in the mail, im also expecting the biggest cooler that can be fitted on the fc but im afraid it will make my coolant temps rise?? Can anyone answer that..

After more of a while i noticed that my passenger left rail was hot as a mahfakkah, thats when i got out of the car and looked under the car..the heatshield on the downpipe was there but i had and still have a 3-5mm gap between the downpipe and too the next segment of the exhaust. Still the exhaust exit`s at the back where it should.

Also im suspecting that my cat may be clogged, i dont know why im thinking this, i just do. I also have a porthole of somekind coming out of the cat wich may be letting 1000 C* exhaust right up into the chassis just as the downpipe segment is. Im waiting for some money too get the RB REVII downpipe and Ypipe with mufflers and do the rest of the tubing myself, i actually got the RB catback already. Haven`t noticed any exhaust leaks from the downpipe gap and the cat porthole but there is DEFO coming hot fumes from the cat porthole.

ANOTHER thing ive noticed is that my cd-stereo player gets hot as...yes another mahfakkah! Just after a few minutes of playing, i fixed a better ground but that didnt help much so im gonna have too measure some voltages soon too find out what is wrong. Only speakers connected too the player are my tweeters so maybe i got some circuits shorting out( due too my lack of stereo hookup knowledge)

*New rims
*Streetport
*Mapped too stock 0.6 Bar Turbo ( Cause the police here is having a witch-hunt on tuned cars giving fines set for 200,- usd pr bhp over original that u get busted with) imagine being fined for have 250 bhp too much, that would bankrupt u for several years....maybe even a decade
*Silicone tubings
*Power FC
*Polk Audio System
*NSA Dynamo
*Koyo Racing rad
*Refurnished and rebuilt Original brakes and changed brakedisc`s in the front.
*Stainless Braided brake lines

I`ve started too loose control over where all the money WENT but i know so far that ive spent about 14,000,- USD on the car but bear in mind that we make 2-3 times as much concidering the american currency but everything that we shop or spend money on here is also just as expensive, so rounding it down too about 5.000,- for you guys it might be more correct.
Most of the money that went missing has gone into the rebuild and port of the engine ++++ maintenance , fixing other stuff, ALSO bear in mind i had no tools or plickyplocks too work with so i probably spent a fortune there also

That`s it, after about a year in the hospital she is serving me well

Finally a few pictures, bottom one is right after the engine install and isnt showing all the updates.

I don't think those lights would fit on a US model, correct me if I'm wrong but the plate looks much different. Sweet car, but your exhaust is a little crooked.

Im afraid beefhole is correct aswell as others, our Kouki`s are much shorter in horizontal allignment than the US ones, i wish i had a us kouki`s so if it was possible id almost TRADE you haha, but im not getting into that kinda modding work. So, when the price for the tailights are already more expensive here than they are WITH shipping in the states, u can add ashipping... checked it up and it would be about 1.900 usd, and thats not far from what you paid for the whole car? You guys understand why i lost track of my accounting now :P A simple pair of lights cost just as much as the cheaper FC`s over there

some trimming of the metal might be needed to fit the lights, much like when someone goes coupe-vert lights.

I want to paint my coupe silver, I have been thinking about it alot lately and everytime I see a silver car I want !

Great looking car.

How can they pinpoint your hp though? Follow you to a dyno? Or stick one of those hp meters on your window and go for a drive? Sounds like a little to much work for the police to handle.

naw they stop u when ure driving or when ure hanging out on the local gas-station having a burger with your friends, your then almost under arrest (this is the DOT-officials here assisted by a police unit) and you are too drive your car too the dynospot with an official in the car making sure u dont do any adjustments heading there, then they dyno you and fine u 200 bucks for each bhp you are surplus and if they can find extra power they will do a technical too the bone and give u notices/fines or take your plates.
God i bet these guys could crush rocks with their ********

First of all: Nice car!

Second: I think they are to strict over here (Netherlands) already, but we can get away with most of it. If I were to live in such a country, I would just migrate. **** them car hating bitches!

Third: WTF is going on? I switched my Euro lites for JDM ones, cause they look better, and allow me to run small plates, and now folkes in the US want Euro tails? Anywho US vert tails should be the same as the Euro ones, only the centre piece is different from the Euro one.

Riz.

Erikseven has US vert lights with the Euro licesnse plate bracket. I'm pretty sure there is a little bending or cutting to fit the lights but its not a hard mod. Trouble is finding the bracket. Looks awesome though, I would love to do it.
