Is that big bracket the new tranny mount? I have done AT to MT swaps before and all you need to use is a L shaped bracket about 8-10 inches long. I usually just cut two pices off of a old bed frame i have. (the ends that hold up the box spring) and then drill holes for the M/t and the A/T. You will see that it extents the reach of the mount and maintains a OEM look.

do you have any pics of it? the thing is that i have already made the mount and its ll welded in. i tried to use the old mounts but i couldn't figure it out. I see now what you saying, would have been so much easier.

when i started this mount i searched and asked, but i got the same "cut the old mounts out and weld them back in." Its been done now.

thanks for the tid bit of info.
