Has anyone ever modernized and tinted?

Would be a good idea if you think about it. Lots are complaining about seeing the bulbs but the tint will be rid of that. Only when there off of course.

This is the thread that inspired me to do this, and I'm glad I did...

I was skeptical at first, but when for it and it looks great, looks amazing when the sun is shining on the tails. And the fact that you can see the bulbs doesn't bother me too much.

However it is a PITA to do, as the plastic is super brittle..
