wow.... really nice, i love how it has the complete fc2000 kit, bumpers, headlights, sideskirts, and even the wing... and the enkei nt03 wheels..... its exactly the same as teh FC2000 time attack car !!!


i saw some pics on speedhunters last week, and really love the hard work put on this car !!!

must be freakin nice on the track !!!

wow there is some serious hatorade going on in this thread. Given that the FC hardly gets any love from mags you'd think everyone who is an FC enthusiast would be proud that one of their own made the cover. Sometimes jealousy can get in the way of things I suppose.

Even if the style isn't to your liking it's a very clean and well done functional car. That alone is something to give credit for.

 

It's not jealousy to dislike the styling of a car; I respect what's in it, but I wouldn't trade my car for it.

That said, it appears to be done well, and aside from the flares and stickers, I like it. What really matters is the owner likes it, since it is, you know, his car and all.

 

seems to me like you want the guys nuts because of his car, being so defensive and all. all i said was it wasn't my style and heres why... god forbid i share an opinion that isn't 100 percent positive.
oh and i kind of ignored your whole "more legit than you will ever be" comment because i didn't think it was worth it to start ****... but maybe you should go afford a paint job that isn't rattle can flat grey before you talk **** about "being legit".

His wing reminds me of Knight Rider when it goes "Turbo". All those wings and other things pop out of no where. Wings on Wings. Props for bringing the FC into the mainstream eye, but it's not my taste.

 

I think it is a clean FC.

Even though it is a different style then my taste, IT STILL has a butt load of heart and soul put into it and after all........... isn't that what counts?

hahaha... so much hate.... i love it!!! its what makes me love this forum!! i used to LOVE to post pics of my orange car to see all the people hate on it... it was fun.. i loved my car, and thats all that ever mattered to me!!

he did a great job on the car! spent a ton of money on authentic parts (unlike 99% of us) and took his time, and looks like he did things right (the 4th time around..lol)...there may be things alot of you dont like, but you have to respect the work!! and he didnt skimp on the cheap stuff! authentic re amemiya parts!! holy hell! even if they arent your "taste", he could have saved a **** load of money and bought knock off, but he went legit! and the volks!!!! who around here is rolling on volks ?? only very few of us!! i give him all the respect in the world for building that car! because i know he wont see a 50th of what he invested into it if it crashes, catches on fire, or nhe sells it.. thats what makes us, us!

so enjoy bashing someone who spent alot of money on his car, and bought what he liked, but because he didnt buy what you would buy, it makes him have "bad taste"!! enjoy!!

Its not like the guy threw a body kit on it and called it a day. That car appears purposely built and most everything on it is 'functional' for perfomance oriented driving. Not just 1/4 mi runs, but sustainted track abuse (drifting, time attack) and it looks mighty nice to me!

If you don't like it thats just fine, some people don't like yellow...

Have to agree there. The car is a lil much for me, but Vipers is right. It's his money and his car and like someone else said. FCs don't get much press so it's nice to see one. Not what I would do with my car, but it's not my car or my money.

and YES Vipers....your car was very orange. Felt like I got my daily dose of vitamin C just from looking at the pics But from what little I know about it, you did a great job on that car and I think it won some awards..or an award.

How ironic. Guess he got some press and figures it's time to leverage that fame.

But Pshhhht on selling that thing with that wing....how do you get the groceries in and out of the hatch!!!

 

I wish I had a grip o' cash I'd buy that car in a heartbeat keep put a wangan style spoiler ( even tho the one on it serves a puropse) and I'd paint the wheels bright orange or bright green and add more stickers and go on a road trip to every haters house so they could try and diss on it in person which I doubt would happen.
