FC vert and burnt McLaren F1.

This is really random, but I haven't posted anything for a while.

I was watching a video on youtube of a McLaren that caught fire and... hey, an FC!

maybe this should go in the lounge...

They were 1 mil new.....they are one of the few cars that pretty much began appreciating in value immediately...if only I had created a website in the 90's I could have made a shrewd investment...

I want those S5 tails, lol.

I wonder how it feels to have a car that costs that much, only to see it go up in flames. Do you think his insurance company paid him anything?

Yeah, they did fo sho. I work for a family office. AKA, billionarie. The insurance policies they have for their stuff (cars included) is extensive. It may cost $100k's a year but when something like this happens they get paid out $95-98% the value.

Don't cry over this cars owner..... he has dozens of other super cars to drive. I KNOW.

Thats an FC joke... FC's have leaky pulsation dampers that cause your engine bay to suddenly burst into flame.

Damn you Beefhole! Haha

I'd say it's 50/50, and $3M will sure buy another!

The value of McLaren F1s just went up a little bit more.

I've heard some R32s have appreciated as well, but obviously not to the extent that the aforementioned supercars have.

I do monthly maintenance for a guy who's house is worth something like 14 million. His insurance company does regular check ups to make sure everything is in order or they raise his rates.
