make it your self. it is easy beyond belief. if you have the little tray under the stereo it just pops out, careful not to break it. if you have a hole saw use it if not buy one. here is a quick idea of what i'm trying to say.
before picture
once the tray cut out and a cardboard template
with the trim installed to see how it fit
used some scrap metal and just used electrical tape to leave it black. (didn't want to spray paint it)

it doesn't bother me, only takes about half a second if not less to look down. And I check the position of the needle I don't have to read the numbers, I already memorized where the needle should be.

you should hang the gauges right in front of your face for maximum visibility, while your at it put your climate controls and the radio there because looking at those for a second might send you off a cliff, dont dare open the center console to get anything or else the world may end

May I suggest a B2A Gauge Pod? I know its a bit of an old thread, but for anyone who may still be interested, I have developed a very rigid and easy to install pod assembly that snaps into place where the logicon control is mounted. Fits 52mm gauges and visibility is wonderful!
Check out the site for more info: built2apex
or just send me a PM for more details.
Here is a picture of one installed in my own FC time attack project. They come in a steel grey, mine is yellow (I have my reasons lol)

I have one, and I have water, oil press and feul pressure dow there. The guages are digital and blink when there is something wrong. So you dont really have to keep checking unless they are blinking.

^ If you keep very good maintenance, you can do without them.
I put my boost gauge pod right in front of the tachometer. I'm able to monitor them very easily.
I bought this pod on eBay. $3.99 shipped from Hong Kong... Don't understand how they can do that, but whatever. Works great, looks great.

C7carbon makes a similar dash gauge pod as to what you're describing
