FC calendar

so am i missing something or do we still have no one making calendars for the FC? i figured with the highest population of the rotary generation vehicles on the road ever that someone would have taken the initiative to do a calendar for this generation of 7.

anyways, this is a kick in the *** for someone who may be interested to start a 2013 calendar early.

Ditto.

Or hell, I'd pay for an FC photo book full of awesomeness. All pages, all FC's.

I think the issue that still stands are these:

1. Quality of photos (web vs print)
2. Lack of rights to publish photos (and make a profit off them).

It might lean more towards the 2nd one, each photographer has their own rights to the photos they take, and getting the green light on 12 super legit photos of FC's for sale as a calendar may be a more difficult task than it sounds.

It's more like, "playing by the rules" than they are real issues.

I know the way the SA/FB calendars worked was the owners submitted the images themselves, and I believe it was mostly a case of the owner taking the images and had no problem handing them over as it was more of an "honor" to be in the calendar than worry about how much the person the calendars may be profiting. I don't think the maker of the first gen calendars made much money off of them anyway.

I offered to make one of these like 8 years ago.. No-one was willin g to pay over $20 for one and they cost no less $13 each to make with a short run of 100. That is a with DOnated images.

I would be willing to make them, but I would need HIGH res images donated with permission from you and a disclaimer that it is your car..

I think it is doable. It will just take someone to lead the charge. I actually think the problem would be narrowing it down to 12.

Ehh to much to deal with, great idea just simplify it. 6 of each then there's diversity, Lloyd I think you'd be surprised at how many clean FC's there actually are when people get pics up for something like this.
