Running a 2.25'' OBX headers to a 3" midpipe to 3" tip. ( straight pipe )

Fitment - Had to custom make an adapter from headers to pipe. Besides that, no issuses at all.
Sound - Well, its a straight pipe on a NA, so yeah, it's pretty loud passed 3k rpms, but not so much at idle.

 

Where did you pick that up. I've been looking for a dual setup for ever. Don't really like the tips on the RB and I'm not an apexi dual kinda guy.

 

I know what you mean. The Apexi tips look like rice and the RB mufflers and tips look incredibly ugly IMO.

Anyone running the RB Road Race full exhaust? (header -> mufflers). There's only a handful of videos on YouTube and they all suck.

I got it for a guy on the forums, think he said its imported from japan but the best exhuast ever its quieter than racing beat at idle great when reving it.

I like the racing beat tips but these trust tips are like a megaphone tips (starts small and gets wider) and these are nice and oval

 

Those with single exhaust, has anyone thought of blocking off the left over hole on the bumper?

 

bumping an old thread...anyone ever run a dual flat black muffler? wondering how it might look

 

I had a flat black 2-1/2" muffler tip on my old FC; it was a single outlet and I don't have any pics of it on my phone. (I'm at work at the moment.) all I remember was that the high temp flat black paint I used didn't adhere to the aluminized steel I used on most of the system. It was difficult to keep clean. It adhered to the 400 series slant cut stainless tip for some reason though. (probably lack of surface treatment) I recommend silver 'ceramic infused' header paint. It adheres to most steel. It may come in black as well.
