The end of my first rx7(pictures)
On friday the 1st my buddy beau and i drove out to glendora to r & r rotary to get his car tuned and to get a bov installed. We went out to get the bov flange welded to piping and then came back to the shop where we found out we needed vaccuum cables. Me being lazy as usual just told beau to take my car because i bought the car from him and if theres one person i trust with my car its him. i go upstairs and smoke a few bowls and come back and there is this weird feeling in the air. I questioned why beau wasnt back and went downstairs and my mechanic steve put beau on the phone. Beau was pulling the 7 out of NAPA autoparts and was pulling out into the street to make a left and as hes rolling a bit to see past a parked truck blocking his view and a 08 nissan quest just comes and plows the car. The car spins out 360 and the rear hits a parked truck. Beau was alright other than a little cut on his eyelid but the car is totaled. The entire front end is gone, the radiator cut in half. There was soo much force that the passenger side rim was cracked in HALF. The question i have an answer to now, "are rx7s safe?" hahaha hell yeah the motor was still running after the crash.

Daaaaaaamn it looked nice...what colour was that? I don't think the other driver is gonna be at fault from the description of your friends accident... If he was poking out into traffic with the car, and got smoked, then its totally his fault.

it was actually pretty strange cause when i walked out of the room we were smoking in i sort of had this feeling that something was wrong. and then i got the call :[ but this will give me a chance to go with a drift setup on an fc or an fd if i get a nice chunk of cash from the driver. 
sucks.. its one of those situations that you wish you where driving so at least you couldnt fell guilt/blame on this person.
Yah i remember that car was for sale too..
Traffic flow doesnt have to cease for cars turning onto the street unless its like a stop sign or light for them.... so im pretty sure this is at a lose.

Goes to show you, you can be as careful as you want but you can never tell how moronic the other drivers are. It's hard to be a GOOD driver AND avoid the retards on the road.
Good luck and glad he's ok. Cars and money aren't worth as much as friendship and life. Hope you don't hold it against him. What does the police say about who is "at fault?"
