Simple Answer: Yes.
Mine has one. It's basically cardboard covered with interior carpet. I'm not sure if it is model specific or it was an option. My '86 Sport didn't have one, but my S5 TII does.

*Damnit I was just gonna look for that thread!*

I cleaned a very nice C6 Corvette at work the other day, and have been interested in trying to that kind of fabric cover that attatches to the hatch and hangs down in front of the speaker covers. Seems like it would work.

Well all it was is like a cloth, held on by little loop bungee thingys, on built in hooks in the frame of the hatch.

Dark tint? Its not for everyone, but it works on mine since I have mismatched speaker covers.

See the cloth attached to the hatch?
I think this could be done, what does anyone else think?

cut a cloth to fit, sew on the velcro strips and there u have it... JK

seriously tho, I'm gonna try my hand at making one in FB and glue speaker enclosure carpet to it.... one decent piano hinge at the seat back (mines a 2+2) and some elastic cord at the hatch struts..... it'll be worth a try

I think if I were a thief I would be more interested in what is hiding under the cover.

The cover looks nice but may actually increase the possibility of theft?

it does look nice when it is inside the hatch, making something might be your best bet because shipping one would suck and alot of them did end up being discarded because it does cut down on how much crap you can put back there, limits the height a little bit

I may start to make cargo covers out of fiberglass if anyone is interested. I will replicate the stock one. My only issues are installing them/ selling them to someone without the special speaker covers. I do not know when I will start this but if anyone has any input It may help me. Once I get a solid plan and decide to go ahead i'll post in the group buy.

I got one on my Daily Driver.
I also have a Spare,in blue,for sale...Hint.
AMT T.you wanna copy the shape of one?.get a hold of me.
I am sure you can do something to eliminate the holder problem,as you can extend the rod and take it to each side of the car. You'll see what I mean when you see the Cover,.

My friend has one. I've seen it, thats why I'm thinking of making some as I know many ppl are looking for them. It's not carved in stone yet but when I get some time and some materials I will screw around make a few prototypes and stuff. then when I find one I'm happy with i'll post some pics, evaluate the cost to build and see what ppl are willing to pay.

Both s4's and s5's had them as options only. Someone please put this in the FAQ.
