Great results on some of you.. I want to see more, just to see. I don't need to go this route, but its awesome seeing the time people put into DIY's

i had rattle canned my old fc black. then spent a hell of a lot of time and money sanding it down to get it prepped for a real paint job. the flat black (hehe) faded after about 2 weeks and started chipping after a month or so. not sure what went wrong. it was rustoleum spray paint i used. maybe the weather wasnt great when i painted lol. but anyhow, spray paint clogs sand paper like crazy causing you to have to use a lot more of it to get through the just the spray paint lol.
on the other hand, that green-ish one looks amazing and so does the black on by what i can see. i wish my rattlecan skills were that good lol. i know someone now that does paint and body for cheap (he's retired and has a booth set up in his back yard)

A scratch repair on the "decklid" area (horizontal area behind the hatch) of my FC snowballed into me stripping the paint off of the rear quarters halfway up the B-pillar
. I found a rattle can color that looks pretty close that I'll be spraying that area in, as well as the engine bay.

You can look on YouTube and they show proper steps to get a good coat of paint on with the proper prep work temperature and where you paint matters to so if you plan on doing one yourself I suggest getting a garage clean out any dust prep the area and the car then paint away also if the garage has a heater that’s a plus
