Cruising on Sunday

Got to get out on Sunday and go cruise. It was nice outside and felt great. Did a 200 mile loop and it was a lot of fun.

Ha!

Imo...
The 1st picture,
I see what you did there but blurry, dull, color has potential but its not doing it there.

Last 3 pictures,

Maybe it wasn't you taking those pictures since thats your FC right?
Anyway there blurry, composition's good, but frankly there boring.

As for the rest of the pictures, great.

Later.
-Toby.

Alright douchebags! I shot these w/ my new point and shoot. But first shots of my FC were taken by a friend so there's your explanation composition ****'s. haha. Same camera, just with me taking it out and shooting with it on purpose and getting what I want. This is me taking my time w/ the same camera and some post processing.

She's @ 114k right now. I got her right @ 54k un-molested and completely bone stock miles. Still making good compression too! 108-110 psi all 3 faces front and rear rotor.

I've had it 2.5 years. Let's see mileage ****... I drive around 45 miles a day to work round trip. Random trips and long cruises to the Mountains. I drove it to Miami. The beach I don't know how many times. Errands, dates, etc. I daily drive it.

Ok.

But I'm still gonna say this:
Imo, you have turned a rare low-mileage excellent-condition RX7 into a normal high mileage RX7 within 2.5 years.
For nearly 20 years that car has retained that low mileage excellent condition.

The longer it stays that way the more rare it is. Thats awesome.

So now thats one less "rare" rx7 out of how many "rare" rx7s out there these days.

To understand my point:
I believe this has to do with not just a "value point" but a "moral appreciation?".
Car rarity imo has different levels, depending on age, manufacture, etc.

Exp 1: These RX7's are a normal type of car meaning they were mass produced & inexpensive. Now days, there all over the place, ppl have put lots of mileage on them, modified them, etc. So finding / having one that isn't modified and doesn't have high mileage can be considered "rare", and it should stay that way for as long as possible.

Exp 2: A (somewhere in the 1990's) Ferrari, is an expensive car, probably not as much produced. Im not sure how much mileage ppl put on a Ferrari, I kinda guess that its not much. But even if someone had a low mileage Ferrari and it was considered rare imo, I kinda think "whats the point, in not driving it" even though the value on those go up.

Exp 3: A car like the 1960's Triumph GTR4, only 100 produced, (rare should be punched into the VIN.) I have a 60/40 view point on this one, meaning 60% of the time it should be driven. If i had one I would drive it. But since its such a rare car I wouldn't want to drive it.

Imo, I think in basic terms, cars that are considered "rare" or that are "going to be rare", old school cars, exotic cars, etc. should be driven an experienced.

Cars that are a dime-a-dozen, (if a low-mileage mint-condition and depending on its age) one is found. It should seldom be driven., to maintain its rareness.

Just my 2 cents.

IMO, the FC isn't collectible enough to be too concerned about mileage. I'd rather see an FC have 50k miles put on it by a loving, caring owner than a car with less miles that's been sitting in a garage under a layer of dust for 10 years. The car is still in awesome shape either way, as long as it's taken care of, mileage doesn't really matter. It's not like it'll catch $100k at Barrett-Jackson or something.
