Clean stock TII auction result

I think this auction result has the potential to be telling about the future of FCs. One result does not make a trend, but there was a GTUs that went for crazy money last year. This was another special case though of a one owner car that appears to be meticulously maintained. Kudos to the seller. And hopefully the high bidder doesn't flake out and takes care of that car.

nope, doesn't really say much of anything except that there was a few interested buyers willing to pay a premium at this time.
there is also the fact that the car has to actually be paid for. not always does that even happen.
the value of clean FCs is rising but there isn't always a prospective buyer with a healthy wallet waiting to buy. the series 5 turbo IIs are also much harder to find and generally fetch up to 20-25% more than a series 4 as well.
who knows though, maybe my TII will be worth over 10k again someday.. i kept everything unmolested so i could return it to 100% factory setup if i ever chose to sell it. no holes chopped for intercoolers, chopped undertrays, evap core intact for A/C reassembly, etc, etc. i have been slowly adding S5 aesthetics to it though, the S4 wasn't as nice looking, even though the S5 were overall more problematic cars.

Anyhow, welcome to Florida! You're about an hour away from where I am.
