A change of heart.

I've never been a big fan of V8 swapped RX-7s, no real reason in particular it just seemed like half the fun of owning a seven was the rotary.

That is until today when I rode in a LS1 swapped 3rd gen.
Holy ****, 400lb-ft of torque on hand is an amazing thing. I'll probably never do the swap myself, but now I can definitely see why other people would do it.

Incredibly fun.

ls1 FCs are even better. parts are cheap and readily available at any parts store, engines a dime a dozen @ junk yards, huge power potential and stock internals etc... I love my 1.3/boost but if its pops again then ill prob source to the other side.

Blasphemy! half the fun is seeing the "WTF" look on domestic owners' faces

I would do the swap either, but I will not bash the guys who have them simply because they do get down.

I started gathering parts for my swap.
4.8l with 700 HP stock internal potential. Ive come a long way since when I joined here when I was in my teens. But its time for something that will compete with serious road race cars at an affordable price.

I never really liked V8 7s. But then again I never really DISLIKED them. A clean, nicely built one is always refreshing.
