Bus + my car = me needing new mirrors. Need parts.
Sup guys, I'm new to the forums. Looking for some encouragement and a helping hand. My name is Brian and I own a 91 rx7. Ok, so I'm driving by and a bus takes a good junk out of my passenger side mirror. Figured instead of replacing, might as well upgrade. So I'm looking for those amemiya mirrors. If anyone can help me out I'd greatly appreciate it. Point me in the right direction as to where I can get some or if anyone is willing to sell me some, PM me an offer.
Thanks.
- Brian.

Thanks magus i just checked out the types and yeah of course i wanted the type 1 but it happens. I also see that bomex has a replica of some sort. I like the flush small mirror concept it goes with the body. As it stands i have one and a half mirrors lol i guess i can't get picky right now. Has anyone checked out mazdaspeed mirrors for the fc? I've seen a pic on them i could imagine they are hard to find as well. I'll check out the sale forum like you said. Thanks again for the heads up.

I see...idk the aero ones seem to suit my taste. i think it'll give me more of a feel to the body size. Before this i had an 02 blazer ...the mirrors were equivalent to that of elephant ears. lol I mean its nice to see everything on a freeway for the next three lanes and time and space but in the long run it made me want small mirrors. All i need is to see in my next lane. The fc's glorious blind spot over the shoulder makes you want to take a look over to make sure.Wellto me anyway.

^^ I dunno how those mirrors would flow with any other kit than the amemiya. I would love to see pics of them on another car. ^that's the only place i've seen them.
^^And nate, i've driven with the type 2's and turbo mirrors on the highway with 5pm traffic. I didn't notice too much of a difference. Of course I'm being biased.

lol nice. I'm not much of a convenience guy myself I prefer the"Work with what you have" method. In the long run I think I'm gonna go with the ice cream cones. Bomex has look-a-likes right? would that be easier for me to find?

you will get used to smaller mirrors, its no big deal.. especially if you are a good driver.
I had some Bomex mirrors at one point on my s13, similar to those RE mirrors posted above.. I cut off the swooping back portion to be more of a cone shape.. Looked alot better.
I went back to stock on that car though, sold those to some guy in canada. The stock s13 mirrors look pretty good when color matched to the body instead of the original black.
I like the mirrors i got on my rx7 though. I see good in them and did daily drive the car with them. I got the car with them, just relocated them to the door instead of the more traditional mirror location. I got used to them and I like them. Of course tho you should be turning your head when you change lanes etc.
