i finally completed a long overdue brake overhaul.. with slotted rotors and brake pads all around. The brakes feel a lot better, no more vibration.. no longer feels like the car is falling apart under hard braking

this was a rear, a previous owner neglected to put the washers on the caliper mounting bolts, and they dug a trench in the inside of the rotor

Wow, very nice. Did you replace the master cylinder as well? I'm also planning on a brake overhaul with new master cylinder, DOT 4 fluid, hawk pads, stock rotors, painted calipers dust shields.

 

Your rotors are on backwards

 

they arent backwards, the cooling vanes are straight, will work either direction. As for teh slots, i believe the outer end of the slot is supposed to hit the pad first
