im a little confused on which is the stock s4 5a paint code, i would love a pic of one with fresh paint, mines faded somethin severe

come on ppl, dont let this thread die, i want to see some badass blue fc's and like i said, i want to see one with a nice 5a paint code, id like to repaint mine the factory color but im also wanting to go with a but im also wanting to go burn orange so id like to see something that convinces me to stick with the stock paint................and yes i would tear my engine and everything back out to re-paint(She's my baby)hehe

 

the stock blue is awesome, i'm on my second one now. i'll post pics of them both this weekend.

 

great, my favorite color is blue anyway, and id love to see you car herrafass im pretty well new to the fc's(had alot of mk3 supra's) but i love the fc more than any car i have ever drove, and would like to keep and all stock body with same paint code, but my paint is screwd(after i got hit in my red t2 i traded my sks assault rifle for the blown na gxl body just to keep her) and i really love the fc so im just learning how everything works with the rotary....... but i have buffed out a few good spots on my car and i really like the color and cant imagine what it'd look like fresh

Man, I wish mine was still that pretty. It's got some nasty oxidation and the clear coat has pretty much vanished from the hood. BTW what did you do to achieve that drop? Lowering springs or coilovers? It's not slammed, but not a 4x4 either. Tastefully lowered if you will. I'd like a similar stance when I get some BBS rims.

this is by all means not my car i saw it posted in the white fc thread by iLikeEatPoo or something like that and he bought it this way and painted it white so i wanted to post a nice blue looking fc and wanted to know what exact blue this is???? can anyone help me??

thats a nice blue, i like it! he shoulda kept it but to each his own, whites really clean too. it looks like an IBM or close to an electron blue ( same as prelude's and Si's) but lighter. keep it coming!

I used to have a blue one. When I get enought money together I'm going to have my GTUs painted blue. It's the best color on FC's.

Anyway, heres the old one.

These pics are old, but I thought I'd contribute nonetheless. This is the color my FC will be whenever I can get up off my *** and finish the rest of the car. I had the engine bay sprayed about two years ago now. I've kept it under cover and cleaned up while slowly doing the rest of the build.

It is IBM - original Mazda paint as well. The only thing I did was added two extra coats of clear..
