Quality big brakes aren't cheap. K Sport makes some for about $1,500. http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/perf...Big_Brake_Kits

I have the k-sport 13" 8 piston. They stop very well but unless you're going to track your car I would just throw some T2 brakes on there (assuming you don't already). Spend the change on something else. That being said, stopping is far more important than speed/accel and its frequently over looked when people mod their cars, that's why I bought Big Brakes, with my LS swap I wanted strong stopping. That def wasnt happening with the 1 pot stockers.

This pic is with my 18" stern st-1 but i have 17s now and it fills the wheel nicely.

I am currently running stock rears. I have been looking at the corksport rear upgrade for some time now, just no real reason to buy until my car is track tested and I am not satisfied with my current setup.

Should be fine with just the front BBK if you use a prop valve. Are you using a 929 MC? How's pedal travel compared to the 1pot's?

The one I have:

Can you see it now? R&D isn't cheap, especially when your life depends on it.

stock 4pots are great for everyone that isnt running endurance race 600hp machines or for people that are addicted to rice and shiny bits.

if i didnt work 6 days a week, and actually wanted to fab it up, i would.
still not worth close to 500$.
hell, there is a shop in san jose that makes a viper caliper and rotor kit (as in, the adapters, rotors and calipers) for 700........
so, again, not worth 500$

Anyone can make brackets for $100.

Viper rotors (if you're talking about the older models) have 13" x 1.26" rotors up front... less than 1/4" than the ones I'm running.

So you think paying $200 more for a similar performing setup is better?

FC calipers are cheaper, so are the rotors used in the kit. And if you go through pads often, they're cheaper as well.
