Hey Guys,

Finished the first stage in my vert project a while back, never got the chance to post pics.

I started off with a base 88 vert that was abused, has corrosion, rust, and some technical issues.

Pulled out the NA motor and Installed a stock TII with all emissions blocked off. Did a full S5 conversion on the exterior. Threw in a brand spankin new set of 18's - 8 inch in the front and 9 inch in the rear. Added a shine autosports lip. Greddy thrust exhaust system for now.

Still not done yet, but getting there.

Just wanted to get some feedback on what you guys think so far.

These pics are what I started off with after I did some minor body work and alot of cleaning and detailing.

I see the abuse you were talking about... Someone painted your shroud and intercooler... The previous owner should be slapped for that one.. lol Sorry.. Other than that it looks sweet!!!

looks like a nice clean swap, but i'm with chaosseven. hey man your headlight are broken.

looks great other than the painted intercooler, the fan shroud and the sleepy looking lights. its your car though and you are entitled to do waht you want with it. i'm not huge on the wheels. i personally like the stock bbs wheels but the wheels that you have on the car are somewhat tasteful. the body looks excellent though!

 

not huge fan of verts but with a t2 in it and s5 trim upgrade it does look pretty clean..

 

looks great! but you would think after all that body work you would have paid to fix those headlights!

BTW The last time I heard some guy say the word "****" I stopped and looked around only to realize he was talking about my car. He said that is "****" and I was

After all that work, how could he forget to fix the headlights? The car turned out really nice though. Definitely hella ****.
