^ if you can see up close there are a lot of chips and scratches all over near the lug holes... the lips are in okay condition but one has a 3" gash.. they can be used as-is but i rather fix them first besides i still need to get a new set of tires for these badboys =]
stock FD rims

17x8.5 50+ 25/30mm spacer

just get some wheel paint and do them yourself,.. get some sand paper and go over them wet sanding, 600 grit should do. clean them with soap and water. Mask off the lips, spray.
Then take some Mother's aluminum wheel polish to the lips and do it by hand. = awesome. I dont think you need to primer them, just prep the current surface. Im tempted to paint my volks

rattle can works great if you put enough light perfectly even coats on it... but if you can find a shop that will powdercoat them for a good price its totally worth it.

Cool video. I liked the soothing music. Wish either I spoke German, or that they kept providing the English translations. Wonder why they stopped 1/3 of the way through?
Questions: (1.) Where do you get one of those rotating stands for wheel painting? (2.) I heard somewhere that you're not supposed to prime an already-painted alloy wheel, that it actually reduces adhesion of the top coat. True or false?

They primed it because they sanded most of it down to bare metal by the looks of it. you should be able to get the stand from their website, I think that is what this vid is promoting.
