Maybe because half the ppl on this forum will never have an fc as nice as his.....
Honestly,i dont have a clue what grip did to the following ppl who are bashing him and his car, but it really is uncalled for. Ive had a few pm convos with Grip and have never experienced any "douch" from him.
Yes, the wheels may be a vw fav, yes the tires might be stretched, but this is HIS CAR! no anyone elses.

Your car is a wrecked car that was repaired nicely with expensive wheels on it, with an ill fitting lip and a racing beat exhaust. That sure warrants 14K.

yah man, everyone is jealous of you. it must be so hard to live your life. no one in chicago is pushing 1000hp supras or anything like that right? naw. the chicago scene is pretty much dead, stock fcs with 'ill fitting' wheels are all the new rage. ppl will line up to give you 14000$ when you show them how you spent 12000$ on making your car ride and handle worse than stock.
If you were really interested in determing the value of your car, it would go like this:
"hey guys, my car has X amount of km, Ive had it for X amount of yrs, it has these X amount of problems, other than that its awesome! gets lots of love from socal dickriders and lots of hate from haters. I wanna sell it bc Ive got a different project in mind and would rather allocate my time and resources to that, with that being said I'm in no hurry to sell so please don't lowball me. Serious offers only for my 23 year old car."
Then, serious ppl interested will reply with "was it driven in an illinois winter? does it have rust underneath? any accidents? is the motor new? ETCetera.

this is what actually happened in this thread: you posted cool pics of your car, ppl responded, when the responses turned ugly so did your feedback, and now you cant take a dose of your own medicine. stfu.
Also, my reference to another level was simple: its a HUGE car show, dont try to downplay it, the chicago scene is one of the best in the country, and your car pales in comparison.
but I'm glad you've built up a persona of false confidence based on internet dickriders. I for one hate stretched rubber and stupid camber, so...yah. My rage is mostly directed at that, and really, thats all your car has. I love ranting.

So you say once the chicago scene is dead and we have no fast cars..Then you say the chicago scene is one of the best in the country. Your dumb as **** when you come for Another level you should bring some cash to get down. We have plenty of slow cars here. I have 2 very slow cars myself we could line up with if you'd like.

Agreed with this. Grip's car is very sharp looking, and it's impressive that he rebuilt it so well after it was hit. However the economy is still kind of bad, and unless you're talking about a highly sought-after collectible car, you almost never get back what you've invested in any car.
