16" rims ftw

So I scored some watanabes off an s4 I recently purchased to steal some parts off and sell. Didn't think they would look real great on my s5 at first, then I swapped the rims so I could get a roadworthy on the s4 and wholy crap they are not going back! Went down an inch in rim size, but my suspensions that hard it should smooth out the ride a little.

What do you guys think. I know they need a clean, but it was getting late when I finished putting em on

you need to take a shot farther back from the car, but your car is in the garage.

Your bodykit looks too modern for them though. I can only imagine getting tired of old watanabes real fast.

Nice paint btw

26in dubz or get out. LOL LOL.

I agree it looks alright on the car, but if the rim size was larger, say 17 it would look even better. But good looking car anyways.

Ah the colour seems to light up a little more in the photos for some reason must be the pearl. As for the body kit being modern, wasn't r magic making that kit ages ago? Can't be that new

I'm definitely not one of those "hella flush" guys by a long shot, but those wheels look a little sunken with your body kit. What's the offset on the Watanabes? I do like the wheels a lot though and think the gunmetal color works with the red. Maybe they need small spacers.

I hate the flush look, its ridiculous. Looking at my car side on, the wheels fit fine with no chance of scraping on the guards etc. No idea what the offset is, I just pulled them off the s4 I purchased

Well, 16" wheels are a great choice in terms of function. You end up with tires that aren't too low profile so the ride is still pretty good, and they're small enough that they aren't boat anchors. I also like the fact that 16" was a stock size when the cars were new, so FCs look at home on 16"s. I don't see the need to "modernize" a 20+ year old car.

16s are too small for a kit, IMO.
