yes, see my first few posts for current pics of the car. i undertook a complete restoration and also have a thread here documenting its progress. i wanted to release a pack of wild hogs on the previous owner of this car.
This was the 3rd engine in this car, it lived the longest with 78,000 miles on it and was a MANA refurbished engine installed in 1997.
I'm picking up my new engine next week.
All 5 housings have been replaced with S5 housings,FD rotors, S5 flywheel and front counterweight, FD oil pump and pressure reg, RX8 e-shaft, all new bearings, RA super seals and springs, Atkins solid corner seals, FD side seals and springs, RX8 corner seal springs, street port and port matched intake manifold. I'll be running Rtek 2.1, 720/1000cc injectors and emissions equipment.
Other than that, it's just like ...stock.
I put a lot of thought into this project, and I think this will be a very livable combo as a somewhat DD. The car will not see the track anymore and I do have another car, but I like this one, and I like to drive my cars. I plan to run 12-15 lbs of boost and live with it daily as needed.

The gauges in the glovebox door
are peak hold/recall...cause you know you can't read them while you are driving. The original owner put'em in, I didn't.
The left storage box is converted to a sub box.
