Do those come on when you turn the lights one time? (Before the head lights flip up)

Those would make for great driving lights for low light situations!

Yes, I wired them to come on with the parking lights.

I'm not too internet savvy, but I searched around the site and I couldn't find a thread with a "how-to" on wiring the FTP to turn on with the parking lights. Could you point me in the right direction? Thank you.

Tap into the hot wire of the marker light, and run the other wire from the FTP to a ground. Very simple.

So we are currently having multiple tornado warnings and bad storms, and it made for some dramatic skies, and I couldn't resist doing a photoshoot

Yeah there's heavy rotation like 3 miles north under those clouds...

^haha really???

I got the pic from supraforums... Long story short, my buddy had a gsx he got for cheap with all kinds of electrical issues, and I was trying to get help on dsmtalk, but they were just being clueless idiots about it. So I posted that pic I found saying the car burned up, and they all believed it lol... Anyways he ended up selling that car after sticking a bunch of money into it. Next owner threw an ecu in it and it ran perfect for a week, then he blew it up

Those cars are garbage...

So I got a decision to make....

I want to turbo swap this this winter, considering I have a decent job at the time.
So, I could just go out and throw some cash down on a stock Turbo II motor to put in, and hope its in good running condition.

Or what has been on my mind lately is: My other project FC(aka the coupe) has this little pearl sitting in it:

its a streetported S4 Turbo II motor with 50xxx miles. I know the exact condition of the motor as it was in my old turbo II last year. What makes me want to take the motor out of this and put in the vert is the fact that the coupe will not be done for at least 2+ years. I still have to buy a few thousand in body parts for it, paint it, suspension, turbo, intercooler... you get the idea, a lot of time until its done. The main thing is I do not want that turbo motor sitting that long. And I am researching very much into a n/a 3 rotor build, which would look great in the coupe

So idk, I hate to keep taking parts off the coupe and change my original plans, but its going to be so damn long until its done.

Feel free to convince me lol.

And its going to be even long until its done if you keep robbing parts from it lol!

But, like you said, having that motor sit for 2+ years wouldn't be good. So do it! turbo verts are awesome!

Its true, turbo verts are awesome

Well my clutch just slipped a bit today(the stocker holds up well to repeated clutch kicks), so I can pay to get a n/a cluch, or I can pay about the same to run a turbo clutch with the turbo tranny, which is sitting in the shed...

Still not 100% sure on the swap yet. The turbo motor has no turbo or mani, no secondary injectors, and no clutch. It does have a Greddy T4 mani hanging off it though... Right now I'm thinking of picking up a stock turbo/mani, and then buying a nice clutch. And, once I upgrade the turbo, I can sell the stock turbo for about the same I paid for it. The key with this is going to be budget for sure until I get out of school and get a real job, but I'm not going to half *** it either.
