I recently purchased a 88 gxl to use as a track car...the car has 61000 miles , and is in really excellent shape....driven by passion and examples on his site of how to build track car , I have planned and ordered a bunch of stuff to that end . Saturday with only coilovers ...cheap ebay temporary ones , and Toyo R1s , I did a drive day at PBIR....WOW ! I didn't expect the car would be this good..very neutral , and very predictable transistions , slow , still has smog and cats , but I am all about handling....almost wonder how much better all the rear steer , and spherical stuff I have coming can make it...this is one fun car !

If it's in good shape like you say why butcher it into a track car?? These are getting rare. Hell I'd trade you my S4 sport... it's not perfect but it's a good driver.

there is a reason why we're still playing with such an old car.
actually the more i play with the FC the cooler it is. just about every part of the FC was designed for the FC
