S5 Convertible Hood fitment issues

I recently had to buy a used replacement convertible top after my original was damaged during a break in attempt.

I fitted it without issues, all the bolts etc lined up fine. However there is a little bit of slack in the material and now the full roof assembly doesn't fit up to the top of the windscreen properly. Its almost as if the whole thing is about 2 inches further back than the previous one and has left a small gap in the corners of the top of the windscreen and about a 20mm gap between the back edge of each window and the seal on the convertible top.

My question is there any adjustment in the soft top itself to get rid of this issue?

The only adjustments I know of are the hooks on the locking mechanism. I had the opposite problem. My top was too tight and needed to lengthen the hooks.

I went with the Stayfast. I would also suggest considering the headliner as well.
