this is probably a frequently asked question but I was wondering what you guys use for fuel additives? the last one I seen was from a year or two ago so I was wanting to know what you guys use now. I know on mustangs we use seafoam but I didn't know if that was safe to use rotary engines or on it or from a start up from sitting for a couple of years. I had a friend check the gas to make sure it was still good and he gave me the thumbs up but told me to make sure I put some 93 in and run 93 for a couple tanks.

when I checked it out before my father bought it. the guys had the intake off and had it running by shooting carb cleaner in it. so I know it fires and runs. just need the fuel pump changed which is done and sitting in the trunk waiting to go in and a new battery/battery housing put in it cause they took the battery out since it belonged on one of their race cars.

any knowledge and help would be appreciative.

thanks rotary. I was just checking to make sure seafoam wouldnt mess it up. last thing I need to do is blow the motor up trying to get it started. after that get it moving and check the clutch. don't know if I have a bad clutch or a bad master/slave. just know we had a problem getting it to shift while we were pushing it up and down the ramps to the trailer.....then to get it moving when I moved a whole house over.
