I personally would not have an issue using them, but if you're worried about it, why not contact Atkins and ask for replacments?

I can’t get ahold of atkins I keep getting a busy signal, I’m just asking because I don’t want to go off of just one guys opinion.

I’m trying to get as much input as I can before I decide.

well guys its slapped together and now i'm getting It put together, in figuring out where all my o rings go I found a problem.
the Atkins master gasket kit is supposed to have pedestal o rings for the oil filter but the ones that seem to fit the bill are way too small.
the ones in there are square edged, although it seems by the large amount of silicone everywhere that they didn't work well.
I can't find those square edged ones anywhere, where can I get a pair that I can be confident will work?

Ended up buying some o-rings from ace, I’ll see if they melt, the info is attached.

99% chance they are standard Buna-N orings which have a temp rating up to approx 225F. They certinaly aren't the best option, but they should hold for a little while.
