Oil consumption

So after putting about 1500km on my vert since I got it on the road, I notice that it seems like it doesn't consume as much oil as I thought it should. I check the oil every tank or so (I only get about 300km on a tank because I have a heavy foot) and it seems to use a little bit of oil but not a lot. I have a metric oil pressure gauge and if it's reading right, it's doing about 3kgcm (should be about 45psi) when the engine is warm and I'm just cruising at ~3000rpm. I've added maybe a liter since I started driving it. Is it possible for an engine to have proper oil pressure but not use as much oil? What kinda oil consumption are you guys getting? Cheers

They don't use as much oil as most people think they do. Carry a spare quart and check the oil every couple weeks if it's daily driven.

+1, depends on how hard you drive, but a liter in 1500km's is about right
