I don't know what that part is but when I was changing my water pump housing I notice there's a gap about 1mm thick and I'm pretty sure it's suppose to be sealed but all the screws bolts ate lined up not sure if that's the right part or not ( 13b turbo 2 s5)

Thank you. question would it be easier just to delete the omp and premix or is it fixable emissions isn't a problem though I live in Miami I'm a little stuck on this one

Being an s5, your OMP is electrical, and will put the ECU in limp mode when missing or malfunctioning. With an aftermarket ECU or RTEK "chip", you have no choice but to fix it.
