Question looking for an FC project

I was wondering where the best place to look for junkers, preferably a FC to fix up. Do I visit junkyards and look for projects I like? Or just wait until I find an FC that is doable to fix?

essentially every FC was bought new, and the driven like it was stolen until someone got bored, or the car broke, so they essentially are all project material.

is it possible to drive it like it was a stolen rental? because I think that would fit as well.
