Help identifying a hose

Help identifying a hose
First off I'm new to RX7s this 86 being my first one. Working around the car today I noticed this hose hanging under the front passenger side. It has air coming out of it and I haven't had a chance to trace it back yet but it sits under where the air box is. Does anybody have an idea of what this is/ should go to?

that is the outlet for the air pump air when its not being used.
at idle, with the engine warmed up there should be no, or almost no air coming out of that pipe.
