So I was driving down the street, and a sheriff pulled me over and told me my license plate lights were out. (88 rx7 vert) Do these even come stock with license plate lights? I looked for the light and it was no where to be found. I tried buying one online and nothing came up. what do you guys think? Do you have one on your car?

 

Yes, FCs, including soft tops, came with license lights.
They are on the sides of the plate (ends of the tail light housing) and take #89 bulbs (7.5w).

 

You just have to remove the truck plastic/ carpet to get to them . Don't even have to remove the light if I'm not mistaken

 

You have to remove that carpet anyways TOO remove them so either way
