Buzzer going off

The buzzer that goes off at red line (I think it goes off for coolant level as well) started randomly buzzing when I'm driving, seems more often when it's cold. I have lots of coolant in the rad, just wondering if this is just a bad sensor/connection or does this buzzer sound for other issues?

does your coolant light turn on? you could try burping the radiator hose a little bit with the cap open and see if it goes down. I also had another problem where my low oil sensor plug was disconnected and it just buzzed randomly.

Low oil and low coolant will also set off the Buzzer.

my rad normally stays about an Inch from the top, seems like if I top it right up it just goes into the overflow bottle. I made sure oil and coolant was topped up, but basically the buzzer stays on damn near the whole time until it's nice and warmed up. Very aggravating to listen to, it must just be a bad sensor or something

If its doing it until its warmed up it sounds like its still low on coolant. The buzzer going off with the engine warm tells you the expanding coolant is hitting the sensor essentially

Make sure you burp it really well, and have some in your overflow so when it cools off it can suck it back in like its supposed to

sometimes the sensor in the top of the rad gets a bit corroded if coolant wasn't maintained properly, u could try using some fine sandpaper and cleaning the metal part of the probe off then re installing it, and see if it stops going off as often...

Ok guys, so I figured out the reason why it's going off is because i actually have a coolant leak. Started seeing a puddle under the car in the garage and looks like my hose going to the throttle body has a leak, so I guess that means my sensor is actually good :p
