boost gauge issues?

boost gauge issues?
Has anyone seen their boost gauge work and then not work? I go WOT and it barely gets to 0 on the stock boost gauge for a s4 rx7. The following day, it works just fine. and boost feels good. Anyone have similar issues?

IIRC the boost gauges uses the same signal as the ECU coming from the boost sensor, so if the boost sensor is malfunctioning it could cause the car to run lean when boosting. Mine sometimes don't work until I give the dash a light smack.
