IT IS ALIVE....but oil pressure gauge doesn't move

Got the FC running after 8 years of sitting in the garage with a fuel pump and screen replacement. Fresh gas as well. Put transmission fluid in the spark plug holes prior to and let it run until the engine was at operating temperature. Not once did the oil pressure gauge move in the slightest....am I screwed or is the sensor and/or gauge a common problem? I have an oil pressure test kit I'll be connecting when I get home but and info before then would help.

Have you verified the oil pressure sending unit is actually plugged in?

i need to locate it yet. I ran the vehicle and it doesn't stall out before reaching operating temp so that's good. Where would I find it?

Any ideas? It's right below the brake booster and beside the steering shaft
