87 fc question

My 87 fc wont hit rev limiter at around 7,500 rpm it just bogs down? Does anyone know what would cause this

the 86-88 cars don't really have a rev limter

I would start with checking injectors(s), fuel pump, or bad ecu ground.
aaroncake did a great write up on cleaning up grounds on the FC
