1990 Mazda RX7
Hello. I'm new to this site and Mazda cars.
I'm thinking about buying a 1990 Mazda RX7 non-turbo with 5 speed standard transmission. It has 160,000 miles for $4,500 bucks. Needs new AC compressor and convertible top.
is this a good idea 💡?

Welcome!! A lot depends on the overall condition of the car. Do some research on who still makes a top for the car and what it will cost to replace it, parts and labor. You will also want to do a proper compression test with a rotary compression tester to ensure the engine is still in good shape. 160k could be on the lower end of the compression spectrum if the engine was not care for properly or was abused. I would hold out for a coupe for that asking price honestly. I also feel as though the asking price is a little too high. Just my opinion.
