1988 convertable wont start

I recently bought 2 rx7s an 86 & 88 the 86 had a long story to the car and was sitting in the woods behind my girlsfriends house for almost 10 years so i had to rescue it. So a few weeks after that i bought the 88 vert bc its a 5 speed and runs and drives for a rebuild and swap. But since i live in new england the snow put a stop to the project for now. I went out yesterday and tried to start the 88 after about 3 weeks or so of sitting and it cranked and cranked but wouldnt start? I had this problem when i first bought the car the previous over thought the fuel pump was dead but it wasnt i literally just had to keep pumping the pedal and the car started ran fine. Im thinking maybe its flooded or not getting enough fuel?? im new to these cars so any info would be greatly appreciated.

you flooded it, follow the procedure for getting the car started. You can go full on with some MMO or ATF in the plugs or just disabling the fuel pump to see if it will clear up. there are tons of write ups on this

I pulled the spark plugs and the injector fuse and gave it a few cranks to get rid of the unburnt gas but she still wont start

it doesnt always fire right up, especially if you pumped the gas and cranked as much as you say you have
did you only start the car that one time when you first got it?
you may want to try the ATF or MMO procedure next, paying close attention to how its done including making sure you pulled the correct relay

Use marvel mystery oil (ATF is tough on the water seals), also does the tach jump at all while cranking? I had the same problem rescuing my 88, and it turned out a poor contact at the crank angle sensor was preventing the sparks from firing and flooding the engine. I discovered this when I noticed the tach wasn't jumping while I cranked
