i got some Cobra wheels for my car, they have no mustang or ford logos too.
https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...hreadid=152605
a lot of the pics look bad since i was so close to the car and the lighting is wrong. But once i get them all on, ill post new pics. It will look much better when the car is lowered too, right now its at stock hight.
heres a link to other SN95 mustang wheels. http://www.geocities.com/craigbraceg...g/mustang.html

why not just go with the FD wheels if your looking for a cheap pair? although it IS a hassle to deal with the spacers, i still think it looks 10x better than any mustang rim would look...
if i was to pick one i would pick the 98 cobra ones... i think they look the best.

BTW, as soon as people found out they where ford wheels, they didnt like them anymore... funny thing. I think they look fine and you cant go wrong for $350 a set for 17"x8"s. I bet you could find even cheeper GT wheels. I got 255x40R17's on all 4 wheels (never look a gift horse in the mouth..), im still working on shoehorning that in the fronts, ill let you know how that works out.
The new supercharged cobra wheels are 17"x9"

Yeah, but I'll be getting the aftermarket version of the wheels, which offer a 17x8 so I'll be alright. Yeah That is true once mustang is mentioned people change their minds. I don't listen to other people, I go with what i like.

i put my 97 cobra wheel on a bathroom scale and it said 21lbs. For reference, my stock GXL wheel on the same scale was 17lbs.
I dont know what the offset is but its pretty good. Its as close as you would ever want it to the suspension. With the Stang 17"x8"s i can still fit a 255x40 in the front with no rubbing on the suspension. But thats with an old (but still good) BFG G-Force R1 race tire, so its a hair Skinnier then a 255 street tire. a 245 street tire (pictured) fits with no problem of suspension rub.
We should just talk back spacing inseted of offset. Its so much easier.
Spacing from the outer back EDGE/LIP of the wheel to the center is 5"3/4.
oh, found the offset
All 1994-2001 stock Stang rims are the same offset (30mm-32mm), rim width(17X8),

It came from the idea of checking a horses teeth to see how old and what condition it is/was.

They where $350 for the set with no tires. Im sure you can find them cheaper if you look harder or wait longer. I put a WTB ad up on the www.corral.net mustang site and i did get an offer around $300, but the person selling them was far away and i wanted to see the wheels in person.
"Never look a gift horse in the mouth" means 'when you are offered something for free, dont say no!'
I guess you look at the teeth in a horse and see how worn they are to figure its age...
I got the 255x40 R17 BFG R1's (a fantastic race tire they dont make anymore) tires for free... Even though they are used, they still have plenty of rubber left... i was'nt going to say no!
BEH! Ice beat me to it!

I like those on your car and I've tried my buddy's 17 x 10 SVT's or whatever they were on the rear of my 91 TII just to see, and other than not being hub-centric they looked pretty damn cool....Finding wheels 17 x 8- 9 & 10 for under 2k brand new is pretty tough to do these days.
So unless your a die hard track runner they should work good for the street.... The hub centric thing is important but not totally

Sorry I dont know much about offsets and such, but would these rims just kind of bolt up with out any problems, or would they require spacers to fit properly?
