Also, the TECIII uses only one pickup now. The trailing split is programmable now, unlike the fixed trailing split set by the physical distance of the two pickups with TEC I & II.

Do you still need THEIR trigger wheel and magnetic pick-up system or can you use the stock ignition trigger.&nbsp Haltech has no problem using the stock CAS on the 20B...

Yes Ted, I still need to have THEIR custom machined crank wheel. It'd be real nice if I didn't have to though, would've saved my a few hundred bucks to get it made and installed. Get what you pay for... more in debt

But, I don't want to drop BANK on MSD stuff when I can get it running with what I have.

ALL HELP IS APPRECIATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you use a MTX12 you use 6 bosch hec715 coils driven off its own igniters (very very good setup), the mt12 will use the factory coils/igniters, they do do leading/trailing split and full sequential injection, they have 6 ignitian outputs and 6 injector outputs hence the 12 in mt12.

There is a guy here in NZ called Ray, he runs Gizzmo vehicle Electrics. I spoke to him recently regarding changine to 5 speed in our 20B JC Cosmo. He said to just disconnect the factory auto ECU. I am sure he had to do more than this with Lance Warren's(from www.3rotor.com) HB 20B Cosmo. maybe he just didn't want to talk, or have to do it again, but he can do it.
