Hmm well, I have thought about 20B stuff quite a lot. I even considered puting one in my MG Midget! The engine bay is long enough with some mods to the foot boxes and a B2000 shifter (probably) in place of a regular SA or FB shifter. The 20B has a really tight intake manifold angle where it bolts to the engine and would most likely fit. But what about the turbos? One single larger turbo mounted anywhere convenient could work.
Heh, I wonder if I've peaked RX-Midget or Rotary MG's interests yet
The HITman's NOT20B 3 rotor 13B in a 1st gen seems to fit well enough (if you don't mind pulling the engine just to remove the engine to tranny bolts) which means a real 20B would probably fit almost as well, so I'm not really interested in doing a 20B in a 1st gen.
A 20B in an FC or FD would be really cool, but since I have niether car and I still need to pass emissions on those year vehicles in my area, I've elected to choose something a little bit older.
I've thought about installing a 20B in some older american cars, but I'll leave that to somebody else.
I even tried to talk my dad into getting a 20B for his full size van. He went with a reman 318 instead. However my uncle wants to do one in his van. We'll see.
So what I'm left with is two of the most heavy rotary vehicles that Mazda ever imported to the states: the REPU and CD Cosmo. I'm sure you're all familier with Lance Warren's HB and JC Cosmos by now. I have no plans to spend as much money as he did. Both of my vehicles could use more torque. I just need to decide which one to do first. If my bro has anything to do with it, he's going to want to do the Cosmo first. No problem there.

I plan on using mine for daily driving (but not to work), club racing (maybe SPO if I can afford it), and I am planning on running in the Nevada Open.
I think that the 20B would be great in a 1Gen RX-7. Also, I keep thinking about building an exotic kit car with a 20B, like maybe a Ferrari P4 or GT40.

we are looking at building the 20B we have to go into the missus 323 hatch we are buildng, and its going to be supercharged. Currently the plan is for a 13B we have just had built, but might use the 20B instead. And it will be her regularly driven (no not every day) 'family' car.
And then we are going turbo 20B into our S1 (1st Gen) RX-7, will be show then strip car.
We also currently have a 20B JC Cosmo that has a fully rebuilt, ported and polished20B in it. Big boreexhaust etc etc.

You guys from NZ and OZ are lucky to have the cars the 20b came in.. If Bitchin7 is trying to get his wifes grocery getter armed with a 20B. I bet there is some guy over there on a three wheeled motorcycle with foot pegs welded to the middle housing of his 20B'd trike.

All the Cosmo's in NZ and OZ are imports. Ours has actualy been in NZ since new though.
I still have to convince the missus to sell off the 13B ( it has had the required mods done, just waiting to go together once everything else is ready for it) and let me get the 20B put together, afterall, it is just sitting there. Its supposed to be for the RX-7 but that isn't getting touched until the 323 is finished so may as well use it then find another one when we need it. Have to convince her it will be drivable, she doesn't want any more than 400 odd HP, I want 500 + hehe

Just 400hp. Thats not to much to ask. But 500 would be better.
You can haul at least 40 bags of groceries plus 20 or 30 assorted 2liter drinks with all that extra power. Plus maybe tow a loaded car trailer.

ohh yeah, I bet that would be even smaller of a package. The rotors have the inherent problems all the twin motors had though. I guess we could have a 3 rotor 15a in a perfect world.

Not too shabby. If I remember correctly, the Banzai version of the 20B by Petit Racing in Florida has a dual turbo setup. It's amazing how low you need to keep the boost at. It's between 0-4 for daily driving and that still gives you 450 hsp!
