From what i gathered during searching is bascially, to put a 3 rotor together using 13b housing, i would need the eccentric shaft,and the intermediate housing that has the staionary gears. Along with longer bolts and what not. I just got off the phone with SRMotorsports cause they have 20b irons forsale, and they advised that it wouldn't work, cause the 13b doesn't have the holes drilled in them to mate them, and it would be better to buy a used engine cause there's a;lot of parts need. I have a 20b eccentric shaft,thought all i need is the UIM,LIM and intermediate iron with the stationary gear.

I confused now,What do i need ?

you'll need the bolts, irons, rotors, housing, oil pan, manifolds, injectors, fuel rails, omp and lines (unless you're premixing), etc etc. it's just another rotary man, everything you need for a 13b, you need 1.5 of for a 20b.

the notable exceptions to that generalization being the eccentric shaft and thick intermediate plate. if you've got the fab skills, manifolds and the oil pan shouldn't be an issue. if you don't, they are.

honestly, i can tell you now, just buy a complete motor. and don't try to skimp on this project. people like to argue, but realistically, i don't see a 20b being done well, even naturally aspirated, for less than 10 grand. and that is BARE minimum.

thanks for the reply, but what i gathered from what you said, the only thing i need is the eccentric shaft,and thick intermediate plate,from the cosmo.And the UIM and LIM,everything else i can add aftermarket. I'm gonna use strretport 13b housings and all the fuel mod and computer stuff needed.I have a 20b eccentric shaft,all i need from the cosmo now,is a thick intermediate plate,Right? Will it bolt togther,or do i have to drill out the housing to mate it together?

my motor's the same as what you're looking for.
All you really need is the e-shaft and the thick intermediate housing. You can buy or fab new intake's if you'd like. i'm using all the 20b irons and front cover though, but the fd's work.
i'm doing the same on my next 20b, but using a custom oil pan to keep the stock subframe.

There are many ways to build a 20B and you could put infinite amounts of money into it. It all depends on how much you want to spend and what not. Also, building 20B should be done by a veteran rotary builders and it will cost you as much in new parts as buying a good 20B block (New Apex seals x 9). Also tuning 20B will be some what of a task as few rotary tuners in the country have tuned 20Bs... and it will be a timely process and costly one also.

Oh, also finding that intermediate plate will be challenging... I know most 3 rotor engines have been bought up in USA.. I did a search about 1.5 years ago and I all were gone. As soon as I found 3, I bought them all.
