what motor mounts for t he pettit subframe?

I used the competition FC mounts (Mazdatrix ~$45).

on an FD? i have some upgraded FD mounts and Cam said to use "stock" mounts.

yup, that's what was recommended to me, and they work great. They're tough since their competition mounts. You can always make your own out of some urethane. I was going to, but these were less hassle. I'd send a pic, but i don't have any.
you are talking about the rubber/urethane parts correct? If you're looking for the metal components, I have no idea besides fabbing your own or finding a stock set.

I'm sure that'll work. I'm using FC rubbers on 20b mounts. My bad, when someone says 'motor mounts, I automatically think of the rubber/urethane part of the mounts, not the metal pieces.

i was told to use 1st gen mounts....cause theyre shorter?? i got stiffer rubber ones from mazdatrix but im worried that the threaded portion is too narrow. i wonder why were getting different answers from pettit. i guess mounts are mounts ... we just need to know the height they need to be to clear the hood.... anyone have that info?

i will know in about 24 hours. i am using 20B mounts with upgraded FD rubbers.

oh and i called pettit and they told me FD mounts now... what gives? im positive SOMEONE last time i called (like 8 months ago) told me specifically 1st gen.
