what does pettit charge for the complete job?

I'm talking 20b with a big single turbo? I've read in the rx7 performance handbook peter farrel charged 15k plus...but it seems like people say a hell of a lot more. like over 30. Anyone know what the actual totals are?

I believe the correct figure is around 35k, if that isn't a good enough figure for you, and you can afford that, then call them and get an exact figure, I'm sure they'll give you a range more than an exact figure though.

I think that $15K would just be for the big turbo "kit", and maybe installing it on a 20B block. A complete car with a "big turbo" 20B would cost at least $50K if built by a leading custom race shop.

Yes, Pettit charged about $35K for the basic 550bhp Banzai 20B conversion a few years ago, but I don't know what the price is now.

I totally didn't see the words "big single" but evil aviator is correct, one with a "big single" would be closer to 50k probably and the 35k qoute I gave you has been floating around for a while so it probably has gone up a little.

These are prices if you already have the car correct? If so, for that much I can use the forum and figure **** out as I go along because I don't think all the parts add up to $15,000. Guess it does depend what all you use though. How much less would it be without the single do you think? Oh ya, what is the size of the 20B? Displacement?

The $35K is for Pettit to install a stock-turbo 20B to the FD that you supply. See their website for more info on the Banzai conversion.

Yes, it depends on what you use, as well as what you start with and who does the work.
