Tubular 20b/FD subframe

Here are some pics of the hand built subframe. You may also be able to see the dry sump oil pump on the drivers side.
Had the Pettit subframe, used it to make a jig, threw it away, threw the jig away and started from scratch. Not even the slightest bit pleased with the Pettit subframe

Do you still have the Pettit subframe? If so, I'll buy it from you in a second.

Very nice subframe, though. Do you have any pictures of it before the installation?

If your going dry sump, I thought you didn't need the subframe in a 3rd gen beacause there are no clearance issues with the oil pan.

I think there are issues with oil pans and the steering rack with the stock 3g sub frame. Probably the over all position as well.

What kind of camera did you use to take that pic? I can see that the convergence is off a bit at the edges.

Sorry my reply is so late guy's...

The Pettit subframe I have including spindles is for sale. The only thing I didn't like was how the steering rack mounted. They used 1" square stock that pitched the drivers side of the rack higher than the other. Supposedly the spindles corrected the bump steer. I talked to pettit's engineer and they have changed thier design.

-the oil pan wasn't an issue with or without a dry sump. we built a new oil pan for the dry sump anyway...

if anyone is interested make me an offer for the whole package forced240@hotmail.com

Will you be selling your subframe, if so how much?
