transmission question

is there any thing we can do to the stock FD transmission while leaving the entire casing stock (from bellhousing to drive shaft hub), to make it handle 600whp reliably on performance street tires?

i guess i'm asking whether someone made hardened gears, shafts, and stuff of that sort.

and what has been the generally accepted breaking point of rx7 transmission?

i'm planning on buying a second used stock tranny box from japan to work on it in the garage... never done it before but it looked fun on the diy pages and frankly didn't seem all that difficult. i don't mind buying tools and end up spending more than if i were to give it to a builder... because it's a skill i eventually want to acquire for myself.

well anyway, to original quesiton, is there anything i can do to make it better to handle the power? 5th synchro issue will be addressed separately.

thanks.

houseman autosport in canada can make gears for the turbo tranny. but straight cut gears are noisy. he has a website. and he welds the syncros on them. but it'l cost you over $6000. otherwise guru in australia.

I have a racecar 20b rx7 and i went with a jerico crash box. not really a street set up.
