subframe spacer

I was looking at a 2jz swap before deciding on the 20b and was looking at KFG enterprise swap and to create room for the 2jz they use aluminum blocks in between the subframe and chassis to lower the subframe down far enough to clear the hood. I was wondering if this would screw with the steering geometry and cause problems. This is there site with pics of this. http://www.kfgspeed.com/RX7_2JZ.htm

I think those spacer blocks are frightening personaly. Yes they will change the geometry, but to what degree, I don't know. The location of the lower control arm in respect to the upper has changed it looks like by as much as 2 inches or so. For all I know this makes an improvement in steering geometry, but somehow I beleive mazda would have made it that way to begin with. If you want to lower the engine, I'm sure there are ways to do it without bastardizing the suspension geometry. As far as the toyota engine, I think I'd rather see a V8. At least it fits under the hood.
