I would be great if someone designed and fabbed brackets that mounted the coils along the side of the engine instead of on the top......? Does anyone know if such are available?

My bud has the side mounted gtr coil bracket kit. It’s expensive but knowing what I know now I would have just gone this route. Only issue is it uses the knock sensor ports.

only tight area is right by the filler neck, it needs to be twisted all the way CW, but they fit. If anyone wants the CAD models, I'm happy to share. I'm also happy to give out the main mounting point dimensions so you could make welded sheetmetal versions.

Thanks for the interest, but I'm not willing to share the models at this point. They MAY fit a s5, but these are specifically made to fit around the stock 20B engine components. I actually ended up coming up with a different mounting bracket for my 20B as I switched to an excessive LIM and lost a good amount of room.

fits under the shorter LIM, and a 90mm ethrottle body

and best of all, it's a flat plate that I got laser cut, and made a few spacers to space them to the correct heights.

Will that work with the lowered intake set now available?
