Im currently working on my next project and have accumulated most everything i need but am having problems choosing a turbo. My initial though was a precision Gen2 76/85. After a call to precisions headquarters and talking to them about my project i was surprised to hear them say they would recommend a 86/85 gen2, my thoughts were that that turbo while would be a solid choice for the HP numbers i feel like the lag would be a little extreme. The car is going to be driven on the street with a occasional drag race event, maybe a 1/2 mile event and if i get the ***** a track day or two. That being said im willing to sacrifice some spool in exchange for the higher HP numbers. Im hoping someone has some first hand experience with those hp numbers with a street ish car and anyones thoughts with the Gen 2 76/85 on a 20B.
